I didn't like it sliding off my ears but it is very warm.The reason that I bought this was to keep my ears warm in winter while at the same time hiding my crazy bed-head bangs while exercising early in the morning. In the summer I usually just throw on a baseball cap, but that doesn't work in the winter or my ears freeze!!! This works perfectly. Just pull down to your neck, comb you hair, and then pull up over your bangs. I left the rest of my long hair down over the band. I tried it with a pony tail too...and it works better for me to have the pony tail above the band, since the pony tail hole is lower. Since I'm trying to keep warm, I'd prefer my hair down anyway. I bought the black and it looks just like the photo. The inside is like a warm furry fleece blanket.The product is well made. It is soft and very warm. I use it for running. It tight but not too tight and it stays in place. When I ordered it i didn't realize that it had the ponytail opening, I have short hair, I was going to return it but decided to sew it shut. Perfect now. I wish they made more of their headbands and hats without the opening or offer both styles. Over all I very satisfied.I love the inside of this, it feels so delicious! However, if I want my ears covered, I have to wear the ponytail low, leaving the hair to itch my neck (I suppose a scarf or turtleneck would fix that discomfort). But I typically wear my ponytail up higher, and had I thought that through, I'd have realized I just need a head band, without the ponytail feature. The quality is wonderful, it is clearly well-made.I was not disappointed. It was what I was hoping for to keep my hair in place outside. The band stay in place even with activity and is a nice quality as well.The headband is nicely sized and is comfortable but it's not white - it's off white. I have a snow white ski jacket and the headband doesn't even come close to matching.Bought these for my daughter and granddaughter for Christmas and they love them. The lining is soft , Not scratchy, and it’s such a cute style for long hair. I bought 3 of them and they are all being used, that’s a win!Perfect for skiing! My ears always get so cold and I despise hats. This is the perfect compromise and one of the best features is the thoughtful way that it accommodates my long hair in a pony tail. It also has a nice woven pattern that I did not see clearly on the site. I am very pleased!Love this! I love the colour.
