If let me say that NO headbands stay on my head. These were the first that I found that do! However, They are HUGE. The tail is so long that I wouldn't be able to just wear these out and about...it would look ridiculous. But for keeping my hair out of my face while putting on makeup or doing things around the house they're great. I wish they made sizes.This headband is made really well and does not slip. I love how it is adjustable and it really keeps your head scarves on. The velvet fabric helps keep stuff from slipping because it has that little bit of thicker texture. I might have to buy other colors.When you apply it as it says on the label, it works great !?It stays in place and doesn’t move.I bought few lace scarfs from same brand in the past, and they were slipping off the head. So, I bought your headband holder and it was not effective as advertised. The headband and scarf slip off together or the scarf alone.LOVE IT!these seem to run large. I have a really big head and I have it "tightened to most I can.it's five stars even with that one caveat. when you put this on your hair, it's not moving. when you put the scarf over it, it's not moving. you physically have to take the scarf off and replace it to get it right. that's how well this headband holds scarves. I've have this hold up with heavy wind gusts with no shifting. I would recommend highly to anyone who practices headcovering.and I was overjoyed to come back and find that they started making these in more colors than just black. now I can have one that is a ibt closer to my natural hair color and don't have to worry about it showing through lighter colored scarves.Wonderful and easy way to hold back my growing hair, especially during Covid 19 because I haven't cut my hair in over a year. It has grown from especially short to almost shoulder length. The band looks nice and keeps my hair looking groomed.
